NOT JUST FABRIC.
A SECOND SKIN.
WHY ICE-SILK WINS
The difference isn't marginal. Ice-silk outperforms cotton in every dimension that matters for all-day wear.
| Feature | Arctic Ice-Silk | Standard Cotton |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature Regulation | 3–5°C cooler than skin | Traps body heat |
| Moisture Wicking Speed | 3× faster than cotton | Absorbs and holds moisture |
| Drying Time | Rapid — dries during wear | Slow — stays damp |
| Anti-Odour Technology | ✓ Silver-ion built in | ✗ None |
| 4-Way Stretch | ✓ Full range of motion | ✗ Limited stretch |
| Shape Retention | Maintains fit wash after wash | Loses shape over time |
| Skin Feel | Weightless, smooth, frictionless | Heavy when wet, rough seams |
| Chafe Resistance | ✓ Flat-lock seams, zero friction | ✗ Prone to chafe |
| Performance Duration | All-day, 16+ hours | Degrades within hours |
THE PROPRIETARY BLEND
Every fibre in the Arctic Brief serves a purpose. Nothing is accidental.
ENGINEERED AT THE MOLECULAR LEVEL
87% Polyamide — This is the ice-silk component. Polyamide fibres have a naturally smooth surface that reduces friction, a hollow core structure that enhances breathability, and thermal properties that actively dissipate heat. When combined with silver-ion treatment, it becomes the performance foundation of the Arctic Brief.
13% Spandex — The stretch component. Spandex provides the elasticity that allows 4-way movement without the fabric losing its shape or fit. Without this component, the garment would be stiff, restrictive, and prone to sagging over time.
This exact ratio — 87/13 — was arrived at after 20+ fabric prototypes. More spandex reduces the ice-silk cooling effect. Less spandex compromises the fit. This is the optimal balance.
